Now that we have an ETA we can officially be delayed!!
…about whom the less said, the better. The idea if that you will be buying the game to find out more about her, right? Right.
Princess Deadpan
In a remarkable feat of economy, the image below not only lets you take a look at the Princess’ final design, including a sample of her expressions, but it also doubles as a wallpaper and triples as an ad for the game, by the clever inclusion of an ETA!
Sometimes I even amaze myself, I swear.
Take notice of how I couldn’t be buggered to align the little faces properly. I just roll that way
Well I have to say I like the new color scheme more, the silver and gold work better together.
I can only begin to speculate why she’s named after an ‘expired’ cooking utensil and why the most joyous expression is a faint smirk.*

The color schemes have been a pain in the rear, alright. I’m still working on some of them, though I’m leaving Deadpan alone for the time being.
Maybe someday I’ll write about the story behind that name, but not today
She reminds alot of Princess Rosalina mixed with Shantae & Blaze the Cat ( A fire controlling princess formt he Sonic series as well the only good new Sonic character in years)
This design – for better or worse – is still in a state of flux. I should post the latest version someday.
