Operating System Chart
Oh boy…
I can foresee this bringing me a lot of trouble. Well, I’m just doing it for the lulz – try not to get too upset if I criticized your favorite OS a bit. And hey, keep in mind I criticized them all! I’m an equal opportunity hater.
In truth, I feel I might have been a little tougher on OS X than I intended to be, and a bit too soft on Windows. The latter is partially because though I had other Windows jokes, they were difficult to cram in the chart. The former is because OS X fanbois are so adorable, I can’t help but make fun of them and their OS.
So here you go, have another couple of jabs at Windows and Linux, dear OS X fans. Sorry I was mean with you. Please don’t take away my mouse buttons.

Linux - Behind the Curve

Vista - Dropping the Ball
(I’m not apologizing to Windows and Linux users because the latter are tough-skinned and won’t mind, and the former are so used to Microsoft’s abuse they won’t even notice something trivial like this).
PS: Anyways, keep in mind that A implies B and A is true therefore B is also true; but B being true doesn’t imply that A is. In other words, I’m not saying that, whatever your OS of choice is, this applies to you. It applies to, er, other people

Unfortunately the specific software is the thing that makes me use windows more than Linux…. until some people make proper drivers for my hardware, so the specific software will run on wine.
Having no experience with mac’s(thank goodness) I can only say that you got the other 2 dead on.
I’m pretty much OS-agnostic, OS-X being the only one I have no serious experience with (but I’m looking forwards to it… hopefully next year!).
Emulation is a solution, but a rather weak one. Unless you’re running something that doesn’t require many CPU cycles, that is.
Anyways, these fanboi wars tend to irk me. People don’t seem to realize that what works for some doesn’t work for others. So be it! At least unscrupulous cartoonists can capitalize this mayhem!
Emulation is a weak solution… What does wine mean? http://sourceforge.net/projects/wine/
I use windows. Though I’m sticking w/XP as a I refuse to upgrade to Vista. I figure, don’t fix what isn’t broken.
This chart reminds me of the ones they have in the back of the DSM-IV (Psychological disorder diagnostic manual).
spot on! I’ve used all the OS’s (and many others) and the people who use each defiantly follow this flow chart.
Hehe. I’m a longtime Windows user. However, I’m now also a CISCO-certified Linux admin, AND soon I’ll be a Mac user. I don’t know what that says about me in light of this chart.
