FAQ
Q: What is Imaginary Daughter about?
A: Imaginary Daughter is the story of a guy who we’ll be calling Father, and the kid that suddenly appears one day in his life, and who is a figment of his imagination. We’ll be calling her Daughter.
Q: That doesn’t really answer the question.
A. Well, that is not even a question either, but let’s see. I cannot tell you what Imaginary Daughter is really about, as finding out beforehand would somehow spoil it. Kinda like being told that Citizen Kane is about a man who **ss*s his s*e**e. See what I mean? Even so, I hope you will enjoy the trip as much as you might enjoy the destination.
Q: Is the story really going anywhere? Or is it, you know, like Lost?
A: It is going somewhere and it will all make sense in the end, or at least it’s supposed to make sense.
Q: Is this, huh, autobiographical?
A: Nope, though in some spots I’ve drawn elements from my past experiences as well from the experiences of people I know. Which, really, is the only way this “writing” thing works.
Q: How long will this comic last?
A: Already over half of the story has been told. Depending on how often I can put a comic out (and it’s been taking me more than a week lately), that means we’ve got another year to go or so.
Q: What’s up with that TV set?
A: Nobody knows.

License
Imaginary Daughter is released under a Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike 3.0 license. That means you’re free to do pretty much whatever you want with the comic, including every Imaginary Daughter drawing you might find on this site, the characters and the plot, even make money out of it! Like, you could print and sell t-shirts or something, no need to ask for my approval (feel free to send me a courtesy sample though!). All you need to do is add a link either to my homepage or to the official Imaginary Daughter homepage, and then apply the same license to your Imaginary Daughter-based work.
Consider it an experiment. If it works reasonably well, other stuff I do might also be licensed in a similar (or even a less restrictive) way. Otherwise it’s good ol’ copyright for us!
