I think it would have been neat to have a few panels w/Father hitting Spectre & having “BAM!” “POW!” written on them like they used to do on the old Batman & Robin shows. The “KARATE” thing is pretty sweet too. Though, is that the actual word, or just karate sounds?
Awww.. seeing Spectre cry like that makes me almost feel sorry for the big guy. I love that it actually cries like a child (mouth wide open, buckets of tears shooting out). Cute.
I am fond of the idea that he actually yells “Karate!”

And now I’m, once again, clueless :’(
Also, I was about to speculate on the Spectre being Father’s misery and regret and how he was finally facing it after Daughter’s revelation (whom I, by the way, miss very much already :’( ), but the crybaby-moment got me off the track

The tears in the last panel sure seem a bit overkill…but then I remember what comic I’m reading.
i stumbled upon this comic long after it’s completion, and haven’t quite reached the end yet… but why is the spectre’s face right-side up (or upside down?) now? does it have to do with the up/down thing?
