Of course we do. We don’t know how this universe works. No one knows how this universe works! It works differently every time you blink! The only consistent rules seem to be that major events are incredibly convenient… and random!

I therefore propose: His apartment is just below the tower. The fall will not be dangerous because the ground under the apartment will collapse too, so it will end up falling at the same rate as Father. He will land safely in his studio room and make himself some tea. The backpack contains the tea set.

Reminds me of “Fall” by Bloom 06

And just so you know, Bloom 06 is the same band as Eiffel 65 under a different name, production company, and with the exclusion of one of the original members, who went solo. Their style is much different, but still awesome.

LOL You’re right about the thumbnail… sort of looks like a holestein (sp?). I have a definate guess on the backpack.. I’m pretty sure it’s right. But yeah, I put that in the email I sent you.
The building just sort of exploded, huh? Poor Father looks so terrified.. & yet, is still so rational. Cool.

Can I just say, the way you’ve drawn a collapsing tower on this page is amazing. It seems so…. real! And it’s only black and white (mainly). Good achievement!
