May contain nuts. Also a smidge of magic realism (blergh!)

Just barely, but the comic schedule is back on track. Whew.

Actually, because I had to rush it, this comic has several mistakes, the most egregious being that I painted part of it in the wrong side of the paper before noticing. That’s why some of the black lines are broken, even though I repaired most of them. Also, I forgot to paint the shadows on the characters’ skin. Oh well. You live, you learn. Other than that, it’s looking good. Drawing Daughter’s poses here was a lot of fun, and the same goes for the TV (what’s up with that, you might ask, but you won’t be getting an answer yet!).

It’s been some time since I’ve drawn this, and I can’t remember why I painted the walls green (they are light blue). Was it to contrast with Daughter’s dress? Probably. In this strip Father was seeing mostly in front of the door, which allowed his green clothes not to mix too badly with the background. Anyways, perhaps I should leave the walls green and give Father a change of clothes.

Today’s lesson: watch what you’re doing, or perhaps a stitch in time saves nine? Something like that. Anyways, enjoy (?).
