Another page, and it’s only been two weeks since the last one!
…yeah, I suck, I know.
Anyways, this is probably the easiest, laziest Imaginary Daughter page ever, except perhaps for this one.
On a separate note, the update to WordPress 2.8 broke a number of things on the site and I’m still trying to fix them. The navigation is quite messed up right now – sorry about that

(Yes, I saw that in the 039th there are eyes that are not in this 049th…)
Oooh, so close! The eyes are indeed the key… but there’s a hint (sort of) on the title as well

Thanks! The title is usually the last thing I do, as I prepare the final file. Anyways, this thing doesn’t appear for the first time on that strip

If it is not 039… then I’ll shot in the dark saying everything:
- 007th in the mirror or between skyscapes;
- 015th in the TV that is black instead of grey;
- 033th the thing moves the TV and it is hidden in the dark;
- ~038th hidden in the ruins.
If none is correct then…
Ahaha… that feels like cheating somehow. Still now I feel bad so I’ll admit it’s one of those. It does not involve the TV (which moves by itself), and zooming in while paying attention to the architecture would help

About the file name originally I wanted to call it: `wherein a specter is found,’ because in English spectrum does not actually mean ghost. But in the end I liked more keeping the word you selected.
Yeah, the title of that strip was a sort of play on words between spectre and spectrum, and I decided to use the latter so that the actual spectre could remain hidden until now
The spectrum is, of course, a colour one

It is indeed impossible to see without zooming…
Yet an other question: in the pages folio between 3 and 13 you put x/150 alluding the comic will be 150 strips long…
It is just a mistake or you really plan to do exactly 150 strips?
I planned to do 150 strips. That changed as I realized just how slow my whole drawing process was (50 strips = 1.5 years => 150 strips = 4.5 years
), but also as the plot started gelling and the actual number of pages needed to tell the story became clearer to me.
There was an explanation about that in the old version of this site, but I guess I didn’t bother bringing it to the new version, so now this is the official explanation
